The problem
Running a load shouldn’t mean running five different apps.
Dispatch in one place, permits in another, navigation in a third, mileage in a notebook, and invoices in a spreadsheet. The information exists — it is just scattered.

Permit routes
Follow the permit. Not a guess.
You build the route from the permit, point by point, then verify it. Amberway saves the verified route and navigates it — with turn-by-turn guidance and an off-route warning.
- Ordered route and control points, built from the permit
- Explicit verification — a route is a draft until you mark it verified
- Any route-defining edit clears verification instead of hiding the change
- Turn-by-turn guidance, next maneuver, and speed limit
- Off-route warning when the vehicle leaves the verified route
Your verified route stays your verified route.
If the vehicle leaves it, Amberway warns you. It does not quietly swap in a shorter or faster road.
The permit remains authoritative. Amberway does not determine the legally authorized oversize route — you build it from the permit and verify it.

Loads
Everything about the load travels together.
Broker, carrier, driver, truck number, load number, permits, dates, rate, and status — all on one record. Stop searching texts, emails, screenshots, and paperwork for information you already received.
- Every party on the load kept distinct — broker, carrier, customer, and driver
- Permits and revisions attached to the load, with history preserved
- Multi-day runs, legs, overnights, and no-go days recorded as work, not guesses

For pilots
Mileage you can actually account for.
Actual vehicle mileage, GPS-measured distance, planned route distance, and billable mileage are not necessarily the same number. Amberway keeps them distinct.
- Repositioning, escorted miles, and the run home recorded separately
- Manual vehicle-reported mileage stays authoritative for your workflow
- Billable mileage never quietly becomes actual vehicle mileage
- Mileage can exist on its own — it does not have to belong to a load
GPS assists and cross-checks; it never overwrites what you enter. Amberway makes no claims about GPS accuracy or tax outcomes.
Coming to Amberway| Segment | Miles |
|---|---|
| Reposition to load | 200 |
| Escort | 500 |
| Return home | 300 |
| Actual business miles | 1,000 |
| Billable miles | 500 |
- Actual — what the vehicle drove
- GPS — measured distance, for cross-checking
- Planned route — navigation distance, not actual
- Billable — what the invoice is based on
Invoicing
Finish the load. Not the paperwork all over again.
Amberway uses the work you already recorded to help prepare the invoice. You review every line before it goes anywhere.
- Review the draft built from the load’s own work
- Send it
- Track what is outstanding
- Record it as paid
Invoicing is planned functionality. This is a product preview, not a finished feature.

Expenses & reporting
Know what the work actually made you.
Fuel, lodging, tolls, and permits stay attached to the work. Revenue, expenses, business miles, and outstanding invoices roll up into a view of the business.
- Expenses tied to a load, or to business travel with no load at all
- Organized records built for your own review and for your accountant
- Reporting built on stable, export-ready records
Amberway organizes your records. It does not file taxes or give tax advice.
Coming to AmberwayFor brokers
Dispatch without the text-message chaos.
The same load relationship, shared end to end. The broker assigns the load with its operational details and permits, the pilot accepts and works it, and the invoice returns through the same load.
- Broker creates and assigns the load
- Details and permits travel with it
- Pilot receives and accepts
- Work progresses to completion
- Invoice returns on the same load
Broker capabilities are planned functionality — not built yet.

Why Amberway
Built around how pilot car work actually happens.
Amberway is being designed around real oversize-load escort operations — receiving a load and working from its permits, recording mileage across multi-day runs, handling overnight and no-go days, and getting paid.
Permit first
The permit is the legal authority. The route is yours to build, verify, and keep.
Enter it once
The load, the work, and the records share one source — not a copy per app.
Records that hold up
Mileage, expenses, and documents stay attached to the work they came from.
One road. One workflow. One place.
Bring loads, routes, mileage, expenses, and invoices together, and stop rebuilding the same information every week.
Private alpha — an early foundation build, shaped around real pilot car workflow.
